Varise Cooper, UAFP administrator and Lubin School of Business Adjunct for several years, was elected by the board on the recommendation of President Bill Quinlan to fill the unexpired 2019-2022 term of union vice president due to a voluntary resignation. In addition to union administrative duties, Mr. Cooper is currently working on recruitment plans to convert fee payers in the collective bargaining unit to dues paying members with full rights to vote in union elections and serve on the union board. This is in anticipation of presenting a strong front as UAFP enters into contract negotiations spring 2021.The current contract expires June 30, 2021.
